What We Look For Before Anything Earns Its Place

A curated wardrobe is only as good as the thinking behind it, so before anything is considered for a THEADORA capsule, it has to earn its place.

We're starting with natural materials — 100% cotton, organic or certified where we can — because they tend to be kinder to skin, age better, and hold up to the reality of being worn, washed, and worn again by a small child in constant motion. Quality and longevity matter more to us than trend: a piece that still looks good after the third wash, and the third wear by a younger sibling, is doing its job.

We're also thinking about what happens after a piece is outgrown, not just before it's bought — which is why responsible sourcing and a more circular approach to childrenswear are part of how we're building THEADORA from the start, not an afterthought added later.

None of this is about doing more. It's about being more deliberate with less — so that what makes it into a capsule is genuinely worth the space it takes up.
